Archtop Guitar Tailpieces

Comins archtop tailpieces are currently available in two styles.

 

1) The GCS 6-string Richlite version is identical to the one supplied on GCS-16 archtops. The overlay is mounted to a chrome bracket/string retainer and this configuration can be retrofit to many existing 6-string archtop guitars. 

 

2) The floating Ebony tailpiece is the newest version of the Comins tailpiece used on many of the handcrafted models. It is available in six- and seven-string version and includes the lastest metal string retaining claw along with a new tailgut. The 3d printed string retaining claws are also sold separately and a good option for incorporating into newer tailpiece designs.
