Comins Handwound Floating Humbuckers

Comins full-sized floating humbuckers were developed after many years in collaboration with customers about pickup selection and how their specifications interact with archtop jazz guitars. This unique formula achieves a pleasing and even response, possessing clarity and smoothness with just the right amount of girth. Both the standard and deluxe versions come cased in a black Richlite cover with 12  adjustable black pole pieces. Alternatively, the presentation can be dressed up with gold plated (or other) pole screws. Custom options are also available and quoted on an individual basis. These  "floating" pickups are intended to be affixed to archtop guitar pickguards so that they suspend above the guitar top. Modification of an existing pickguard will require the finesse of a skilled installer.

Pickups are fabricated on an individual basis and currently require a two week lead time.
